So here we are!
This all started six months or so ago. We decided that we were really tired of eating the same junky meals 7 days a week. Monday Tacos, Tuesday Pasta, Wednesday Pizza, etc.
Something needed to change. We resolved to never eat the same meal twice ever again. Wow.
Possible? Sure. Difficult? You bet? Satisfying? Without a doubt.
Since we both lead busy lives, the easiest way to start, was simply to pick Sunday night to look through the cookbooks, recipes, Martha magazines and plan the grocery list. Tip: Knowing what you need to buy will significantly decrease your spending on impulse junk at the grocery store.
We're not talking about anything wicked fancy here. We're talking about nutritious, quick and simple dishes that satisfy. Nothing over 30 minutes prep. Seriously.
So now for the purpose. 6 months in, we're ready to start sharing the things that we've made, so maybe you too can start with something similar. Visit often, there should be an update every day!
